EUVIP in cooperation with the Grant Office at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc hosts the international ERC LAB meeting, focused on best-practice sharing among research managers and ERC support specialists. These are the professionals who work with the most prestigious frontier-research grants available in Europe.

The first day will focus on sharing concrete case studies of ERC applicant support. The second day of the ERC LAB will be dedicated to strategic tools and the phases that follow project submission. Participants will work on scientific impact planning and explore the cultural and institutional barriers that may affect the success of ERC proposals, as well as discuss ways to overcome them. A key part of the programme will also include practical preparation for ERC interviews. The agenda will further cover the post-award phase—project management after the grant is awarded—which will involve research implementation, grant portability, and visibility of success. The final session will address the narrative CV format.
